Sol Thomas has a Masters in Criminal Justice and currently a doctoral student at the University of St. Thomas School of Education and Human Services. She is also a part time adjunct instructor at the University of St. Thomas and Lone Star College in Houston, Texas. Sol is a recipient of the Pre-doctoral LEADS Institute Fellowship 2021 from St. Louis University’s Center for Innovation in Child Maltreatment Policy, Research, and Training. Her research interests are criminal justice reform, child sexual assault, educator sexual misconduct on k-12 campuses, environmental justice, racism as a public health issue, and the school to prison pipeline.
